Def, I was out there in this year and a few years around this time and one year got introduced to Nigel Benn IN Bobby's bar on one of his training camps, woolly hat on the lot! Also remember a lot of the workers were AWOL from the army AND Soul II Soul clobber being worth a mint to them workers if you wore it over there.

Went back in 1994

Atlantic ocean - waterfall, was the stand out 'choon' from memory

And playing in the linekers bar five a side comp half way up mount Teide. How we got to the semis I'll never know. Everyone had to drink pints before every game, 38 degree heat and altitude

Went there in early 80's loads of West Ham stayed in los Christianos. That Veronica's strip was lively. Remember my mate coming home pissed and curling one out in one of those freestanding hotel ashtrays outside the lift, RIP.

Ah good op! About 10 years behind but frequented Bobbys and BUSBYS on holiday from 2000 till 2005.

Fingered a bird on the steps outside as well as I'm a bit of a LAD.

Re: Bobby's Bar - Tenerife 1991
I was out there in 1991. I may have even had one of those tapes they sold. (tapes ffs)

I was living in bethnal green at the time and as a regular at the salmon and ball and white hart those tunes were a big fixture that summer. They were big DJ pubs at that time.

There was a club I used to frequent round there under the arches at shoreditch high St/kingsland road. Name escapes me but 'everybodys free' by rozalla really takes me back there.
